Chris Rodgers
Founder & Director of Basketball
Chris Rodgers hails from the Philadelphia area. After a successful four-year college career at Bucknell University, Chris continued his basketball career in Europe — playing professionally in the German Bundislega.
While playing overseas, he developed a love for coaching and became the head coach and program director for a 14u team. He led the team to back-to-back German championships.
Once he finished playing, Chris returned to the U.S. and settled in Los Angeles. He started training high school and college athletes. With over 15 years of coaching experience, Chris continues to inspire and develop our youth on and off the court. He developed numerous athletes who currently play college basketball. As a player, he possessed a competitive attitude with a desire to succeed which he now passes on to his players. He believes in motivating players to achieve heights they never thought possible by helping them break through their mental limitations.
With 25+ years of brand marketing and creative design experience, along with her entrepreneurial background and drive, Jojo continues to build the brand equity of R.I.S.E. while managing the operations of the organization. She has championed the brand identity for Fortune 500 companies and has achieved much success in the entrepreneurial space and envisions an even brighter future for R.I.S.E. Her presence has been felt with the revamp of the company identity, love of the game, and enthusiasm for the program. We look forward to her passion and vision.

Jojo Chan
Director, Brand Marketing, Operations
Coach Neil is from North Carolina where he played both high school and college ball. After his collegiate career, Coach Neil made a name for himself amongst the professional ranks. Working with multiple G-League teams as well as NBA teams, including a stint with the LA Clippers, he organized and ran youth development programs for all ages.
Coach Neil has coached high-level high school basketball over the past six years and has participated in the CIF-SS playoffs each year. He continues to work with middle school and high school athletes of all ages as well as implementing youth leadership programs in the Los Angeles area.
